Sticky: Reprogram Your Mind to Change Your Life

The subconscious mind is the most powerful tool anyone of any age can use. It functions like a huge secret memory and does not formulate any arguments. It is completely objective and it can’t express any point of view. The neutrality of subconscious mind is the core of every action and reaction our thoughts activate.

The saying ”If you think you can’t do it or you think you can, you are right” may be old, but it is filled with truth. Every single one of us was programmed in our early youth by our parents and even our schools with negative thoughts and, more importantly, with conventional stereotypes.  This “programming”, both unintentional and intentional, caused each of us to fall victim to self-imposed limitations.Susan_Karim

We live in a world full of negativity and it has become a part of our daily routine. All we have to do is to read a newspaper, listen to the radio or watch the TV and our subconscious mind readily absorbs the tragedies we read, hear, or see. Strange as it may seem, the world is not just destruction and misery.  The media loves to focus on these areas because drama and tragedy keep readers, listeners, and watchers engrossed.  The reality, though, is that our world is filled with the stories of individuals who achieved great things and overcame extraordinary adversity on a daily basis.

In order to achieve better results and improve your every aspect of your life, you have to learn how to reprogram your subconscious mind. To begin the process of reprogramming your subconscious mind, start by focusing on purely positive thoughts for 30 minutes. You may think, “30 minutes!  I hardly have time to take care of everything else in my day!  Where do I fit in 30 extra minutes?”

Relax. Just take the first 15 minutes of the day when you awake in the morning and the last 15 minutes of the day before you go to sleep. By beginning your day with positive thoughts, you will find that you are able to handle your daily grind with greater ease.  By ending your day with positive thoughts, your subconscious will have the chance to work while you are sleeping and you will be amazed at how refreshed you will feel come morning.

Night time is considered to be the best time of the day to meditate and focus on your positive messages. It is widely known that when you have a serious problem to solve and you are troubled, relaxing and leaving it to your subconscious before you go to sleep is extremely helpful. Answers may come about by morning because they already existed in your subconscious mind.  Writers, such as Mark Twain, have used the power of their subconscious mind to help them work through writers block.  Athletes often use their subconscious mind to go through the course of their race.  Scientific study has shown that athletes that trained for their race using only their subconscious mind and did not train on the course actually finished better that those that had trained exclusively on the course.

Don’t expect to change your programming in a day or two. It requires patience and time. All of the negative programming of a lifetime can not be transformed into positive mindset in just a few days. Just keep following the path you have set and you will find that the change will happen.  Just remember – you can’t fool your subconscious mind.  The messages you send to your subconscious mind must be real.  If you don’t believe in your message, you can’t expect your subconscious mind to accept it either.  Enjoy the journey!
