The subconscious mind is the most powerful tool anyone of any age can use. It functions like a huge secret memory and does not formulate any arguments. It is completely objective and it can’t express any point of view. The neutrality of subconscious mind is the core of every action and reaction our thoughts activate.

The saying ”If you think you can’t do it or you think you can, you are right” may be old, but it is filled with truth. Every single one of us was programmed in our early youth by our parents and even our schools with negative thoughts and, more importantly, with conventional stereotypes. This “programming”, both unintentional and intentional, caused each of us to fall victim to self-imposed limitations.

We live in a world full of negativity and it has become a part of our daily routine. All we have to do is to read a newspaper, listen to the radio or watch the TV and our subconscious mind readily absorbs the tragedies we read, hear, or see. Strange as it may seem, the world is not just destruction and misery. The media loves to focus on these areas because drama and tragedy keep readers, listeners, and watchers engrossed. The reality, though, is that our world is filled with the stories of individuals who achieved great things and overcame extraordinary adversity on a daily basis.

In order to achieve better results and improve your every aspect of your life, you have to learn how to reprogram your subconscious mind. To begin the process of reprogramming your subconscious mind, start by focusing on purely positive thoughts for 30 minutes. You may think, “30 minutes! I hardly have time to take care of everything else in my day! Where do I fit in 30 extra minutes?”

Relax. Just take the first 15 minutes of the day when you awake in the morning and the last 15 minutes of the day before you go to sleep. By beginning your day with positive thoughts, you will find that you are able to handle your daily grind with greater ease. By ending your day with positive thoughts, your subconscious will have the chance to work while you are sleeping and you will be amazed at how refreshed you will feel come morning.

Night time is considered to be the best time of the day to meditate and focus on your positive messages. It is widely known that when you have a serious problem to solve and you are troubled, relaxing and leaving it to your subconscious before you go to sleep is extremely helpful. Answers may come about by morning because they already existed in your subconscious mind. Writers, such as Mark Twain, have used the power of their subconscious mind to help them work through writers block. Athletes often use their subconscious mind to go through the course of their race. Scientific study has shown that athletes that trained for their race using only their subconscious mind and did not train on the course actually finished better that those that had trained exclusively on the course.

Don’t expect to change your programming in a day or two. It requires patience and time. All of the negative programming of a lifetime can not be transformed into positive mindset in just a few days. Just keep following the path you have set and you will find that the change will happen. Just remember – you can’t fool your subconscious mind. The messages you send to your subconscious mind must be real. If you don’t believe in your message, you can’t expect your subconscious mind to accept it either. Enjoy the journey!

Time management can be a significant issue for stay at home moms with so much going on in their lives. For mothers that truly want the best for themselves and their families, time management is key to their success and their sanity.

If you always feel rushed and have trouble completing tasks during the day, you may want to address your time management strategies. If you have difficulty focusing on one thing at a time and are not able to handle distractions well, then you should take a step away from the action and relearn the basics.

Time management is a simple concept: plan and organize your schedule to make your time as clear and productive as possible. However, as with most stay at home moms, we must accept that there will be plenty of unforeseen situations during the day and we need to be flexible.

If you find that you are pressed for free time or that you just feel too busy chasing your kids around, here are a few tips to make your time more productive and find more time for yourself.

Wake up Earlier and Enjoy Some “Me” Time!

Jump start your day by waking up a bit earlier. I find that taking the first 30 – 60 minutes of the day just to think does wonders for my mental outlook. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and write down what you need to do for the day, meditate, or maybe do absolutely nothing. If you want, write down any tasks you need to take care of and prioritize as to when you can complete them.

If you really want to do something great, begin your day by exercising! Wake up 60 minutes earlier than your family and work out. Movement is a great way to start the day and it clears your mind. There is so much to be said for exercising and living a healthy life style. The point is to give yourself a head start. Again, you are in control of when you wake up.

Teach, Train, and Stay on Track

Children can be a very powerful distraction that can easily take your focus away. I have one young child and it seems that she has a request or want my attention or help every 30 seconds. However, you must embrace the fact that your family comes first.

Teach your children to ask for things one at a time and, depending on their age, show them how to do things on their own. If you are doing something important, and it’s not a life and death request from your child, try to defer their request until you complete your task. Your time will be well spent by teaching your kids to take care of a few things themselves when they ask you for something.

Just A Note…

Try keeping a note book with you during the day. As long as you are not driving or doing something dangerous, it is best to write down your random thoughts in a note book. By doing this, you can decide what to do with the task when you are ready to review new information. This is a good way to decide if an idea is good enough to pursue. More importantly, you can prioritize your ideas.

Writing down your ideas and tasks in a note book is a powerful tool in dealing with distractions. If you are anything like me, a note book and pen is essential to time management. I keep a notepad in the kitchen with my master list for the day. It keeps me on track and is a convenient way to keep track of my daily successes.

Time management is necessary for everyone in this busy world we live in. However, I feel it’s even more important for stay at home moms because we are responsible for keeping our families together. Our days are filled with running around with our children and working on multiple projects at the same time. In addition, some of us try to juggle school or a home business.

When you become more proficient with your personal time management, you will be able to accomplish daily tasks with ease and you will feel better about yourself. Time management issues arise not simply because you have too much to do, but rather as a result of the way you manage your time. Modern life is filled with countless distractions that easily divert your attention to odds and ends that are more fun to do.

Managing your time has its benefits. Wouldn’t you love to gain time, lower avoidance, eliminate cramming as well as reduce your anxiety? Who wouldn’t! Being aware of what your goals are will assist you when it plays a part in prioritizing your activities.

There are steps that can be taken to organize your life and handle it more effectively. You can begin by creating a schedule or a task list. Include deadlines when the tasks must be completed by. Be sure to set aside enough time for each job or task and consider all aspects of the task such as driving time, shopping for supplies, etc.

When faced with burdensome tasks and challenges, it may help to break the task down into more manageable parts so it does not seem so daunting. Small victories are a great motivator to finishing a task!

Create time that is exclusively your own. Set the alarm, so you get up a half an hour earlier or go to bed a half an hour earlier than ordinary. Although it is important to focus on the tasks and jobs that must be accomplished, don’t forget to save some time for leisure, time with your spouse, or time with friends. All work and no play can make mom a grump!

Prioritize what you need to accomplish during the day. Focus your attention on tasks with easy rewards. If you see odds and ends getting done, you will feel better about yourself, leaving you more time (and motivation) to do more!

Taking on more than you have time for can have a negative impact on your time management and leave you feeling drained. Learning how to say “no” is very challenging for many women. We never want to hurt someone’s feelings so we feel it is easier to say “yes”. If you know that you do not have the extra time, do not volunteer for an additional committee. It will feel a bit strange at first, but just think of it as giving someone else the opportunity to step up and meet the challenge.

We have all suffered from a case or two of procrastination. If you are able to overcome procrastination, managing your time will become easier. I know it seems easier to overlook some tasks because they seem overwhelming or “not fun”, but it is much better to follow the old saying and “not put off until tomorrow, what you can do today”. Make it your mantra and you will find that you will be filled with a sense of accomplishment and something even greater – time to do what you want to do.

Although it is easy to get into a rut and slack off from daily tasks, there is hope! You CAN manage your time, accomplish the things you want, and have time to enjoy life all with little effort. Just follow a few simple steps to improve your time management and see what a difference it makes to your day!

Time management is better known as the way of performing tasks or jobs in the available number of hours in our waking day. It has become a necessity in today’s fast-paced life, as a person acts in many roles. One has to be committed in order to fulfill all of the responsibilities with complete perfection. While doing so, people find themselves perplexed as to how to approach and manage all the things they must do and still enjoy ample leisure hours.

How To Become an Effective Time Manager

Time management is simply a way of planning and organizing so that all tasks are managed and targets or deadlines are clearly stated. The easiest way to begin is to simply sit down and write out the plan. The most vital factor is bridging the gap between expected and achieved. The following steps will help us to manage time perfectly:

· Target: First, fix a target in terms of what has to be achieved and in how much time. This provides an outline from which further planning can be undertaken.

· Planning: After ascertaining the needs and the hours required for each task, it is time to create the perfect balance between the two. Allocate a sufficient amount of time to each task to be performed so that the goal is achieved. Remember to stay flexible with the time allocation, as the actual amount of time needed can be different from what was originally planned.

· Setting Priorities: Next, tasks to be completed should be arranged in a descending order of priority. When the significance of each task is truly understood, managing the time becomes even easier.

· Time Schedule: The final step is to prepare a timetable. This visual aid helps to complete the work on time, to see the progress of each task and its sub-tasks and to meet the set goal effectively.

Following these simple time management strategies in a business or personal setting gives one the tools to become a more effective and efficient individual and gain something that we are all in need of – more time.

Are You Wasting a Lot of Your Time?

How much of your life is simply being wasted-away?

When you step back and honestly evaluate what you accomplish each day, what kind of results are you typically getting?

Let’s look at some simple figures and do some simple math. I think that what you’ll see unfold will stun you a bit.

An Honest, Hard Look At How You’re Spending Your Life

After accounting for 8 hours of sleep, you have 16 hours left over each day to do stuff, or 112 hours a week.

Are you making the most of those 112 hours?

Of course, you’re not really supposed to ‘make the most’ of the time you spend eating or doing other leisurely activities, but even if you give yourself a very liberal 3 hours a day for food and recreation, that still leaves you with 91 hours a week for getting things done in your life.
Think about that for a moment…91 hours!

Did you realize that after sleep and 21 hours of eating and entertainment each week that you had 91 hours left over?

If you’re like most people (including myself, at one time), probably not.

Even when you take away 45 hours a week for work and a commute, you still have 46 hours left over.

Let’s do one more deduction. Let’s set aside another hour a day (7 hours a week) for miscellaneous activities, such as walking the dog, paying the bills and going shopping.

After all is said and done, you’re left with 39 hours a week.

Are you starting to feel a bit uncomfortable or uneasy about now? Does the idea that you may have nearly 40 hours a week that you probably can’t logically account for shock you bit?

Are you really wasting that much of your life each and every week with nothing to show for it?

No, you say?!?

How about half that, or about 20 hours a week? Are you wasting away that much you think?

How about just a measly quarter of that, or 10 hours a week? Are you wasting 10 hours a week on nothing?

Now that we’ve got the waste-figure down to just 10 hours a week, you may not be feeling so bad about it. After all, it is just 10 hours. But consider this: That’s 520 hours, or 32.5 days (16 hour days) that is going down the dumper each year. And that’s a bare minimum! For you, it could be worse… 2, 3, or even 4 times worse (that’s over 4 months of waste)!

I know that was a lot a math, something you may not enjoy doing at all, but it was a necessary exercise.

I hope you’ve been able to see and understand the magnitude of what you may be doing with your most precious resource – your time.

When I did this exercise, I simply couldn’t believe it. I had to check my figures multiple times to make sure a number didn’t get misplaced or something. It didn’t!
What WAS misplaced was my carefree attitude about what I was actually doing with my time.

This led me to do what I normally do, and that’s pour through every resource I could in order to uncover ideas, tips and strategies to help turn things around I’ve created the Action Unleashed Guide.

This guide is a compilation of some of the best ideas I’ve found, along with a few of my own discoveries.

I’m sharing it because I know I’m not alone in my desire to want to make the most of my time, and thus my life.

If you’re with me on this, then I hope you find information inside this guide simple, clear, and useful – I want it to produce results for you!
